Netbook Rflection

Netbook Reflection

Hi my name is Faitele and I am 11 years old from Panmure  Bridge. I am year 6 in room 7.  I had lots of fun on my netbook this year and I hope we use it a lot next year.

It has been easy to find information and helps us learn more, by going on to websites like studyladder, sumdog and Xtramaths.

Sometimes the mouse and the keyboard doesn't work and you have to restart it.
It has been fun typing instead of writing with a pencil on a paper.  it has been very very fun on my netbook, thank you for making these tools.

My photo reflection

How well did I include the elements of Ingrid Banwell’s work? I could've put more icons and colored hard for no black gaps, but I like my black and yellow border Something I really like about my art is... My black and yellow border. Something I would improve if I could is... Don’t go over the chalk.

Matariki story

One day, the mother fish said to the 7  fish, play near the rocks. Then the fish played tag together. Then Taitamariki the big giant caught all seven little fishes.
But then Tane god of light came and rescued them.
Then he took the seven little fishes and turn them into seven stars.

My Holiday

Yellow Hat
The best part of my holiday was:
When I sleep over my cousin's house and we played games all night,  we started at 3 o’clock  in the afternoon and finished at 6 o'clock  in the morning.  And when we finished playing the playstation 3 we went to the Basketball court at Pt England , we had a shooting competition
my cousin came first , I came second and my Brother came last.  It was getting hot so we went to the Pt England dairy and brought some
ice blocks and a cola drink, it was a fun day
*
Black Hat
During the holidays I didn’t like it when:
I done the chores  and my Brother had fun outside in the fresh air playing Basketball.
         Green Hat
Next holidays I would like to:
Go to Samoa at Summer time and swim in the clean cold water.

Mihi

Mihi
As we are learning about Identity, it would be great if you could present your own Mihi.  You can use different fonts and colours, and could perhaps add pictures or drawings.

Dr.Ben Carson

On Tuesday we went to the Telstra Clear Stadium.  The whole senior school went.  We went to hear Ben Carson’s speech. We got there by a Bendy Bus.
When we got there we shouted “Wow”! “look how big it is”.  When we hopped out, that’s where we sorted out our groups .The group colours were Yellow Blue and Red when we got in we saw a lot of schools.  He finished the speech and we had free Up and Go and a fresh apple.
